The memories that are as cold as the raindrops that are pounding down the window

Went for CIP with Charis and Valery at Orchard today! 

I was craving for Chicken pie at 8.12 in the morning and the craving was too strong I couldn't stand it anymore so I asked Charis to buy me chicken pie and yay my craving was satisfied. 

Met Charis on the MRT at 9.30 and we trained to City Hall. Valery went in the same train at Kallang but the train was too packed we couldn't find her. So we went out at City Hall and the train to Somerset was just there and we went in and THOUGHT Valery was inside but no. Called her and found out that she missed the stop. Someone crown her the blur queen please she wasn't even sleeping or anything and she missed it.

So... we got out at Dhoby Ghaut and waited for her The next train came along and we also THOUGHT she was inside so we went in but no. Anyway we got off at Somerset and waited for her. Saw her at the other end of the platform and we ran and yay we were together. 

Spent 15 minutes going all over Orchard trying to find the place to gather bc apparently none of us knew where H&M was. Finally found it and they gave some briefing dipety dah dah and off we went. 

It was my first time doing flag day so I was actually looking forward to it. 

Approached many people. Some of them rejected me straight away, some of them just walked away as if I was invisible, but there were also people who were willing to take some time to take out their wallet and donate money. Sure, they might just be giving us all their loose and spare change, but at least they bothered. 

And sometimes, smokers are more willing to donate money, rather than normal people, so think twice before you judge anyone. 

Went for lunch at 1. Had meesua and I swear it was super nice. Bought the XXL chicken and shared it with Charis too oh gosh the calories. Had gongcha after that I hate my life. Valery and I went along the whole stretch trying to find the outlet for half an hour ain't we boss. 

Finally found it and we were going back but we realized we took the wrong escalator. So we tried running up the escalator that was going down and we looked and sounded like elephants and we were receiving stares and I wanted to die. 

Times like this I question my sanity.

We gave up in the end btw. We couldn't overrun the escalator HAHA

Went back to work after that until 4.10 when it started pouring. It was also the time Charis had to leave for piano but she was stuck in the heavy rain so she was practically some screwed shit. So in the end she left and Valery and I were sitting outside Taka like homeless kids bc my legs totally gave way and crumbled onto the floor.

Talked about life (not really) until we decided to go to Kinokuniya and roam around. 

Had a laughing fit bc Liam (Yes from One Direction. Ong Jing Yee is actually talking about One Direction) 

And Lone Wolf and The Time Keeper is officially on my wishlist now omg I need these two books especially the time keeper how long ago did I say I wanted it but no I have yet to buy it up till now.

Went out again and asked for donations just outside Taka since we couldn't go anywhere bc of the rain. Then this security guard came and asked us if we had any thing to prove that we could ask for donation here blah blah blah and there was this uncle who helped us say some word awwwww. 

"They're just children just let them do their work. This is for the elders' what wrong. And it's raining outside"

They argued for a minute and we were standing there like awkward penguins. In the end we showed him the cert that we thought we were never going to use and he got owned in the face. Went around a little more while and we went back bc they called us. 

Went for dinner at macs and had h2h talk with Valery life was great. 

Took a bus home and I regretted that decision bc the bus ride was 1h+ long I thought I was never ever going to reach home.

My tanline is ugly. And Charis is standing with her legs tooooo far apart. Valery is standing gayly. THE REINDEER WAS SO CUTE OMG I DID NOT REGRET TAKING A PICTURE WITH IT AT ALL. And if you look closely those things that we're holding looks freaking photoshopped but it's not ok. 

It was a day well spent :') 

they'd better give that cip hours i deserve or i'll go there and flip their tables

Never wearing slippers for flag day ever again i swear my legs were about to break.

Currently drafting my 2013 resolutions maybe I'll post them on New Years' Eve.
